HAVE SOME QUESTIONS?
THESE ARE SOME COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY OUR RENTERS WHEN VISITING DOUGLAS LAKE. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US AT ANYTIME.
Q: ARE LIFE JACKETS PROVIDED WITH THE BOATS?
A: Yes, Life jackets are provided onboard the vessel that you are renting. The life preservers are for safety purposes only. NOTE: If you have children you Must bring life jackets for each of them! If you prefer more comfortable life jackets you can bring your own. ALL OUR LIFE JACKETS ARE ADULT UNIVERSAL SIZE.
Q: ARE ANCHORS PROVIDED WITH OUR PONTOON AND SKI BOAT RENTALS?
A: No, per our company policy, anchors are not provided on any of our vessels. If you wish to use an anchor, you may purchase one separately to use onboard. As we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, this policy is to enforce customer safety, reduce boat damage, and to lower rental costs for our customers. Douglas Lake is a very deep lake and has lots of brush and rocks at the bottom. This does not make for easy anchoring! (We have had Many guests forget the anchor is down and it hangs below the boat and eventually gets caught on something and gets ripped off)
Q: IS FUEL INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL?
A: The first tank of fuel is ON US with the rental rate, after that all fuel is your responsibility. There are several Marinas on Douglas lake to fuel it back up.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS? OR INCLEMENT WEATHER ON THE DAY OF YOUR RENTAL?
A: Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather. It is our policy to restrict water rental use to prevent accidents during inclement weather. Unfortunately, there are no rain refunds.
Q: WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
A: Our cancellation policy requires you to notify us of your intent to cancel 48 hours prior to your scheduled rental. If cancellation is less than 48 hours, we will do our best to fill the reservation
A: Weekly reservations require 1 month notice in advance for a full refund of your booking.
A: Cancellations are not accepted during holiday periods, and this includes surrounding days around the holiday.
